Urban Renewal is a process of redeveloping the major urban areas in a city or urban area. It involves the removal and clearing of major corridors, junctions and other structures that disfigure the face of an urban environment.
It involves the decongestion of major clogged areas of a city by re-arranging the activities around the area, i.e., separation of commercial, pedestrian and transport activities and reducing their level of interaction to the barest minimum.
At Planet Projects, our urban renewal and development projects include the rehabilitation of junctions and gridlock locations as well as major economic centres that have constituted a menace to the city. This is achieved through the introduction of transport master plan, including the following:
- Junction Improvement Works (JIW)
- Traffic System Management (TSM)
